Advancing Technology for Better Lives
Mission
We develop innovative solutions for better life. Our mission is to restore natural vessel function by replacing permanent metallic stents with safe, high-performance biodegradable solutions.
Vision
A future where every patient benefits from temporary scaffolding that supports vessel healing without leaving a permanent foreign object behind. It redefines cardiovascular care with biodegradable stents – engineered to support, heal, and disappear.

Company Overview
We are a California-based medtech start-up dedicated to advancing cardiovascular care through the development of innovative biodegradable stents. We are driving the innovation by advancing next-generation vascular technologies from early conceptual design through rigorous development and testing, ultimately bringing transformative solutions safely and efficiently to clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.

Our Technology
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide, with millions of patients undergoing stent implantation each year to restore blood flow in blocked arteries. While current permanent metal stents have saved countless lives, they leave a rigid, foreign scaffold inside the vessel for life — a factor linked to late complications such as thrombosis, inflammation, and impaired natural vessel motion.

A biodegradable stent, also known as bioresorbable vascular scaffold (BVS), is designed to solve this problem. It provides the strength and precision needed to reopen and support the artery during the critical healing phase, then gradually degrades for the surrounding tissues to absorb. The artery regains its normal flexibility and function, free from a permanent implant. The biodegradable stent offers distinct advantages over permanent stents by supporting temporary scaffolding for vessel healing, restoring vessel natural vasomotion, leaving nothing behind, to reduce long-term risks such as late stent thrombosis.

We have developed an innovative metallic composite engineered to achieve superior mechanical strength for a thin strut and a degradation profile synchronized with vascular healing. In-vivo studies on the proprietary biodegradable metallic stent demonstrated long-term patency, loss of mechanical integrity after healing, rapid re-endothelialization on struts, inhibition of neointimal hyperplasia, and minimal inflammatory response as assessed by histopathology. This unique combination of biological performance and superior mechanical strength represents a significant advancement in BVS technology for the treatment of diseased arteries.

Potential Clinical Applications
Biodegradable stents are transforming the treatment of vascular diseases by providing temporary vessel support that naturally dissolves after healing. Potential clinical applications include:
- Coronary Artery Disease (CAD): Supporting blocked coronary arteries to restore blood flow while reducing long-term complications associated with permanent implants.
- Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD): Treating blockages in peripheral vessels such as the femoral and popliteal arteries with scaffolds that degrade to preserve vessel flexibility.
- Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease: Offering temporary structural support in growing patients, eliminating the need for multiple interventions caused by permanent stents.
- Neurovascular Interventions: Potential use in delicate cerebral arteries where permanent metal devices carry increased risks of stenosis.
- Emerging Indications: Including biliary, urological, and other applications where temporary scaffolding and biocompatibility are essential.
By providing temporary mechanical support without the long-term risks of permanent implants, biodegradable stents enable more natural healing and improved patient outcomes across a broad range of vascular conditions.
